The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office offers fingerprinting services at both the Sarasota County Jail and at the headquarters building. You must present valid photo identification and a fingerprint card (which should be provided by the agency requiring your fingerprints).

The cost for this service is $15 per person which must be made in cash. (No checks or money orders will be accepted.)

Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - noon. at the main jail, 2020 Main St. in downtown Sarasota. (Services are not provided on Holidays.)

7 days a week from 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., 6010 Cattleridge Blvd., Sarasota (Services are provided on Holidays.)

As of December 1, 2005, any person who has been legally classified as a Sexual Predator or Sexual Offender must report in person twice a year (during the month of his/her birth month and in the 6th month thereafter) to the Sheriff’s Office in the county in which he or she resides. Failure to comply with this requirement is a 3rd degree felony. The hours for the Sexual Predator re-registration are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 2020 Main St., Sarasota.
