The Sarasota County Sheriff Office (SCSO) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit, with the assistance of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), and Tactical Unit executed search and arrest warrants at 660 Cumberland Road, Venice, Thursday, November 20, 2025. The search warrant and arrest warrant were part of an investigation involving the possession and transmission of child pornography.
Jose Gabino Macias Zambrano, H/M, DOB 03/06/03 was taken into custody at the residence and charged with five counts of Possession and/or Transmission of Child Pornography.
The Digital Forensics Lab (DFL) will conduct examinations on the electronic devices seized from the residence and more potential charges for possession of child pornography are possible as this investigation continues.
