The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office charged a Venice man on Thursday with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Through investigation, detectives received information that James Clemmer, DOB 12/27/57, possessed child pornography on his electronic devices. On Thursday, detectives obtained a search warrant for his cell phone and recovered two images determined to be child pornography. During an interview, Clemmer admitted to receiving text messages containing these images.
Clemmer, of 185 Wading Bird Drive, is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and is being held at the Sarasota County Jail without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
