The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Sarasota woman on multiple drug charges after detectives connected her with the sale of heroin, fentanyl and carfentanil.
Special Investigations Section detectives began their investigation into convicted felon and prolific offender Lauren Cobb, DOB 06/05/84, on July 28 when she sold suspected heroin which later tested positive for fentanyl. During two additional drug buys on August 3 and August 10, Cobb again sold suspected heroin. One of two substances tested positive for carfentanil.
