The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office submits monthly data to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for its Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program. Nearly 17,000 law enforcement agencies across the United States provide comparable data, which improves the reliability of information for meaningful analysis.

Data on Sarasota County traffic crashes, fatalities and arrests for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is reported monthly.

The State of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has created a database of all Uniform Traffic Citations written each calendar year. Available search features include queries by county, agency and violation type. Reports can be produced in both Excel and PDF formats.
