Sex Offender Registration

NEWS RELEASE 19-181 - NOVEMBER 1, 2019Aleksanor Kastulin

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Aleksanor Kastulin, DOB 10/02/80, has registered as a Sexual Offender living in Sarasota County.

Kastulin was convicted in 2004 in Minnesota of Criminal Sexual Conduct: Fifth Degree Non-Consensual Sexual Contact. He was sentenced to 61 days in jail followed by two years of probation. In 2014, Kastulin failed to meet sex offender registration requirements in Nebraska and was sentenced to six months behind bars followed by 48 months of supervised release. He recently relocated and reports his address is 6146 San Salvador Road in North Port. Kastulin is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections, and because the offense took place out of state, residency restrictions do not apply.

This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sexual offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
