The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Sergio Guess, DOB 02/07/90, has registered as a Sexual Offender temporarily living in Sarasota County.
Guess was convicted in 2013 in Oregon of Third-Degree Sodomy and sentenced to three years of probation. He is visiting Sarasota County until September 10, 2019, and reports he will be staying at 1425 S. Tamiami Trail in the city of Sarasota. Guess is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections, however he is not allowed to live within 1,000 feet of a school, daycare facility, park or playground.
This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sexual offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
