The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Robert Yarwood, DOB 08/10/54, has registered as a Sexual Offender living temporarily in Sarasota County.
Yarwood was convicted in 2011 in Pennsylvania on two counts of Indecent Assault and sentenced to two years of probation and 50 hours of community service. He is visiting Sarasota County until June 30, 2019 and reports his temporary address is 5506 Antoinette Street in Sarasota. Yarwood is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections, and because the offense took place out of state, residency restrictions do not apply.
This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sexual offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
