The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Alexander Eugene Robinson, DOB 9/4/95, has registered as a Sexual Offender living in Sarasota County.

 

Robinson was convicted in 2015 in Highlands County on one count of Battery and one count of Lewd or Lascivious Conduct with a Victim Under 16 Years Old. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail followed by two years of community control and eight years of probation. In 2018, Robinson violated his probation and served an additional year and one day behind bars. He was just released and reports his address is 2127 N. Chamberlain Boulevard in North Port. As a result of Robinson’s probation being revoked at the time of sentencing, he is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections, however he is not allowed to live within 1,000 feet of a school, childcare facility, park or playground.

 

This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sexual offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
