Meth Trafficking Arrest

Krieg, BrandonThe Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 24-year-old Sarasota man for Trafficking in Methamphetamine among other felony charges.  

The investigation launched in April when Brandon Krieg, DOB 05/20/94, agreed to sell methamphetamine to undercover detectives. On two separate occasions on April 12 and 19, Krieg met detectives and sold more nearly 7 grams of the drug. On Friday, detectives executed an arrest warrant and took Krieg into custody. At the time of his arrest, detectives recovered nearly 23 grams of meth on Krieg. He then led detectives to a locked box inside his home where detectives seized an additional 42 grams of the drug, nearly 6 grams of marijuana and various paraphernalia.

Krieg, of 3427 Clark Road, Unit #128, is charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, two counts of Sale of Methamphetamine, Use of a Two-Way Communication Device to Facilitate a Felony, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Narcotic Equipment, and Violation of Probation. He remains in custody at the Sarasota County Jail today on $138,000 bond.
