The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested a 50-year-old Sarasota man on 18 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Detectives received a tip in April from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) after a video depicting child pornography was uploaded to Dropbox. Through investigation, detectives utilized the IP address used to upload the video, to identify William LaMoore, DOB 09/11/70, as the suspect. A search by detectives of LaMoore’s Dropbox account yielded 18 videos depicting child pornography with victims ranging in age from 5 to 15 years old.
LaMoore, of 2241 Mill Terrace, was arrested Thursday and remains in custody without bond while the investigation continues.
