Sex Offender Registration

NEWS RELEASE 20-065 - APRIL 29, 2020
Manning, Stephen
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Stephen Manning, DOB 07/18/47, has registered as a Sexual Offender temporarily living in Sarasota County.

Manning was convicted in 2017 in Pennsylvania on two counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault. He was sentenced to eight to 16 months in prison followed by five years of probation. Manning is visiting Sarasota County until May 31, 2020 and reports he will be staying at 2497 Farms Court in Sarasota. He is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections and because the original offense took place out of state in 1997, residency restrictions do not apply.

This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook and Twitter accounts to publicly notify citizens of sexual offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
