Sale of Cocaine Arrest

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 39-year-old Sarasota man on drug charges after he sold undercover detectives cocaine on two separate occasions.
The investigation began in August when William Harris, DOB 12/13/80, sold Special Investigation Section detectives nearly two grams of cocaine on August 26 and August 28. On both occasions, Harris utilized a cellphone to facilitate the transactions. Harris was arrested January 28 and charged with two counts of Sale of Cocaine and a single count of Use of a Two Way Communications Device to Facilitate a Felony. He was released January 29 on $16,500 bond.
Harris, of 1407 25th Street, has prior arrests for Kidnapping, Robbery, Battery, and several drug charges.
