Sex Predator Registration

NEWS RELEASE 20-016 - FEBRUARY 06, 2020
Thomas, Terry
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is advising the public that Terry Thomas, DOB 10/26/64, has registered as a Sexual Predator living in Sarasota County.

Thomas was convicted in 2002 in Miami-Dade County on four counts of Attempted Sexual Battery on a Victim Under 12 Years Old, Sexual Battery/Coercion of a Child by an Adult, and Incest with a Relative. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by ten years of probation. Thomas reports his address is 4953 Morandi Avenue in the city of North Port. He is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections, and because the offense took place prior to 2004, residency restrictions do not apply. Mandatory neighborhood notifications are being made.

This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sex offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county, or following a release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offender and predator registrations.
