The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that Clarence Fry, DOB 10/23/52, has registered as a Sexual Offender temporarily living in Sarasota County.
Fry was convicted in 2011 in Michigan of Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and Kidnapping. He was sentenced to one year of confinement followed by five years of probation. He is visiting Sarasota County until January 17, 2020 and reports he will be staying at 3443 Clarinda Street in Sarasota. Fry is not currently under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections, and because the offense occurred out of state, residency restrictions do not apply.
This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sexual offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
