The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested a 29-year-old Sarasota man Thursday for Possession of Child Pornography.

 

Detectives received information that a particular IP address was used to upload images of child pornography. On Thursday, detectives executed a search warrant at 1712 N. Allendale Avenue, in Sarasota. Through investigation, detectives learned Andre Esparra, DOB 12/04/90, lived at the residence and possessed at least nine images of child pornography. During his interview, Esparra revealed he received the images through the popular social media site, Omegle.com. The site was recently identified by the sheriff’s office as one of the most frequently utilized webpages discovered during recent “Operation Intercepts,” in which men travelled to have sex with underage children in Sarasota County.
