DUTIES
The switchboard operator will receive, route, and dispense telephone calls/messages with accuracy and expedience.
STARTING SALARY
Salary range upon hire: $24,047 - $29,520 (determined by documented acceptable prior related experience).
Long-term salary cap: $41,355.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated skill to operate telephone consoles as required performing the position tasks.
- Possess the ability to work independently without direct supervision and initiate and complete duties using efficient time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information, utilizing resources, and process verbal/written information in order to effectively listen and interpret.
- Ability to demonstrate awareness for human diversity when interacting with colleagues and the public.
