DUTIES
Under the supervision of a Corrections Sergeant, The Sewing Coordinators duties will include but are not limited to; assigned to the facility sewing. The coordinator will administer the inmate sewing program to include inspection of sewing equipment, maintaining supplies and coordinating the manufacturing and repair of various items by inmates. The sewing coordinator is responsible for movement of inmate workers to and from work location.
STARTING SALARY
Salary range upon hire: $55,619 - $63,939 (determined by acceptable prior related experience).
Long-term salary cap: $78,499.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Two years of related experience.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of computer and office equipment to perform position tasks.
- Effectively communicate information, both verbal and written, demonstrating awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
