DUTIES
The position provides business analyst functions in developing and researching technology solutions for the Sheriff’s Office. This position focuses in areas of Applications/SQL Database and Web development, and Network/Telecommunications Administration, depending on the operational needs of the Information Technology Bureau. Responsibilities include project management and working with system users and vendors to assure proper operation of the Information Technology Systems. Must be experienced with concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology.
STARTING SALARY
Annual Salary: $65,894 – $74,214 (based upon General Order policy and documented related experience).
Long-term salary cap: $88,774.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in IT and 4 years minimum current work experience in IT.
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, demonstrating an awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
- Relevant Experience in some of the following is needed:
- Current Microsoft Windows Environment including Active Directory
- Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 Productivity Suite
- Current Microsoft Server OS
- IT Project Management
- Networking Cisco Preferred
- VMWare 6.0 +
- Web Development
- SQL Server
