Reentry Navigator


DUTIES
The Reentry Navigator will be responsible for assisting program participants in their personal journey towards reentry and/or recovery by implementing a case plan for addiction recovery via community partners and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), housing, employment, and transportation assistance, all while providing advocacy, guidance, motivation and knowledge.

STARTING SALARY
Salary range upon hire:  $46,454 - $57,027 (determined by acceptable prior related experience).
Long-term salary cap:  $79,891.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or other related field.
  • Experience working with inmates in correctional setting in social services, case management and/or substance abuse services preferred.
  • Knowledge of community/state-based services available to incarcerated individuals.
  • Knowledge of HIPPA laws.
  • Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Demonstrated skill in the use of computer and office equipment required to perform position tasks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, demonstrating an awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
  • Highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated.
