DUTIES
Under the supervision of a Corrections Sergeant, The Laundry/Sewing Coordinators duties will include but are not limited to; assigned to the facility laundry he/she will inspect laundry equipment, conduct clothing and linen exchange, distribute/maintain supplies, and inspect inmate clothing. The coordinator will also administer the inmate sewing program to include inspection of sewing equipment, maintaining supplies and coordinating the manufacturing and repair of various items by inmates.
STARTING SALARY
Salary range upon hire: $31,698 - $38,912 (determined by acceptable prior related experience).
Long-term salary cap: $54,515.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Related experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of computer and office equipment to perform position tasks.
- Effectively communicate information, both verbal and written, demonstrating awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
