Inmate Property Officer

DUTIES

Accept, inspect, control, maintain and release inmate property through the use of receipts and data entry records.

STARTING SALARY
Salary range upon hire: $32,515 - $40,515 (determined by acceptable prior related experience)

$35,767 - $44,567 (based on 12-hour shifts/2184 hours annually)
Additional $1500 per year for night shift differential.
Long-term salary cap: $54,515
$59,967 (based on 12-hour shifts/2184 hours annually)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Demonstrated skill in the use of computer and office equipment required to perform position tasks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information, verbal and written, demonstrating an awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
  • Ability to interpret and follow procedural and policy manuals related to the job in accordance with agency policy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
