RECORDS AND REPORTS

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office makes all reports available per Chapter 119 of the Florida State Statutes.

It is helpful to have the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office case number. If not, you will need to know the location of the incident, the date and time of occurrence or the name of the person who contacted the Sheriff’s Office to file the report. 

Records and reports can be obtained in person from the Records Section of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, first floor of the Criminal Justice Center, 2071 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota. Hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
