The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the local representatives from Parents of Murdered Children, Inc. (POMC), will host the National Day of Remembrance on September 25, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.
On that day, the National Organization for Parents of Murdered Children and countless other crime victims and survivors will gather in cities and towns across America to pay tribute and honor our nation’s murder victims and their surviving family members. The National Day of Remembrance also honors organizations that provide services such as support, advocacy and counseling to loved ones of murder victims.
The local Day of Remembrance ceremony will be held at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, 2071 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota, in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.
Parking is available on Ringling Boulevard, Main Street and in the county parking garage at the corner of Ringling and School Avenue.
