Animal Services Adopt-a-thon

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services will hold its fall adopt-a-thon this Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The public is invited to visit the shelter and meet dogs, cats, puppies and kittens who are available for adoption at reduced fees. Animal Services is located at 8451 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, east of I-75 across from Rothenback Park.

Adoptive parents will receive a “starter kit” with food, treats and other useful items. Citizens can also stop by to learn about volunteer opportunities. The event is sponsored by Sarasota In Defense of Animals.
