The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office seized a significant amount of Methamphetamine and arrested two men during a traffic stop in North Port today.

Deputies pulled over a red Chevrolet Monte Carlo on South Tamiami Trail at Galleria Boulevard around noon. The driver, Gregg Williams, DOB 11/18/72, 12308 Saragossa Lane, and passenger Anthony Combs, DOB 9/9/77, 8186 Gancedo Avenue, were ordered from the vehicle. Deputies then asked if the men had any weapons and Combs made a movement toward his front pockets. He was immediately taken into custody and a search revealed two plastic boxes containing nearly two pounds of crystal meth in the front of his pants.

Williams and Combs are charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
