The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has arrested Joshua Anthony McClure, DOB 6/24/71, for lewd conduct in front of young children at Siesta Key Beach today.

A law enforcement officer visiting from Indiana saw a man expose himself and masturbate when he was sitting on the beach. The witness said the suspect was in plain sight of him and four young girls ranging in age from five to 16 years old. The complainant confronted the suspect and the man left the area on a bicycle. Deputies located McClure a short time later and witnesses identified him as the suspect.

McClure, who does not have a current permanent address, is charged with four Felony counts of Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition. He was booked into Sarasota County Jail where he is currently being held on $40,000 bond.
