The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Bradenton woman for the armed robbery at 7-Eleven on Clark Road on August 18th.
The clerk reported that a woman wearing a blonde wig and a black hooded sweatshirt entered the store about 4:40 a.m., told her she had a gun and demanded money from both registers and three cartons of cigarettes.
During the investigation, the clerk was contacted by her ex-sister-in-law, Constance Carol Newbeck, who apologized for robbing her and admitted she used a real gun.
Newbeck, DOB 5/11/71, 2121 56th Avenue Terrace East, was taken into custody today with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and charged with Robbery with a Firearm. The judge ordered her held without bond.
