Duo Arrested for Sale of Methamphetamine

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office charged two Sarasota men after they sold methamphetamine to undercover detectives.

The investigation began in October when Samuel Stringer, DOB 06/11/93 and Jeffrey Chung, DOB 01/08/83, sold Special Investigation Section detectives meth on three separate occasions. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Stringer, a convicted felon and arrested him November 21. While taking Stringer into custody, deputies located ammunition, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia on him. 

Stringer is charged with two counts of Sale of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Weapon or Ammo by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Narcotic Equipment. He currently being is held on $24,500 bond. Chung, who is already in custody at the Sarasota County Jail, also faces two counts of Sale of Methamphetamine and remains in custody without bond.
