The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Sarasota men Tuesday just before 12:30 p.m. for multiple fraudulent checks, stolen credit cards and personal information, and methamphetamine.

Deputies first contacted the men during a traffic stop in the area of Selma Street and Vinson Avenue in Sarasota where a consensual search of the vehicle and person was conducted. During the search, deputies discovered Eric Przenioslo, DOB 5/20/88, was in possession of multiple stolen credit cards and fraudulent checks. Further investigation revealed a wallet belonging to Jeremy Lorber, DOB 5/26/93, holding fraudulent checks and methamphetamine. Deputies then located two notebooks of Lorber’s that had several pieces of identification belonging to other people. Both Przenioslo and Lorber were arrested and taken to the Sarasota County Jail. A third occupant of the vehicle was released at the scene.

Przenioslo, having prior arrests for burglary, theft, fraud, and dealing in stolen property, is charged with five counts of Possession of Identification of Another Person without Consent and is being held on $7,500 bond. Lorber, also with prior arrests stemming from charges related to heroin, is charged with twelve counts of Possession of Identification of Another Person without Consent in addition to Possession of Methamphetamine and held on $19,500 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
