The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is advising the public that Glenn Davidow, DOB 8/16/72, has registered as a Sexual Offender living in Sarasota County.

Davidow was convicted of Lewd or Lascivious Assault on a Victim Under 16 in Broward County in 1996 and sentenced to 10 years in prison. In 2008, Davidow was again convicted of Use of the Internet to Solicit a Child for Sex and Sending a Minor Harmful Information. He was sentenced to an additional two years in prison. Davidow has a history of Burglary and Larceny. He just moved to Sarasota County and reports his new address is 4535 Shadowleaf Drive, Sarasota. Davidow is not currently under the supervision of the Department of Corrections however he is not allowed to live within 1,000 feet of a school, childcare facility, park or playground.

This information is posted on the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office website, agency Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts to publicly notify citizens of sex offenders and predators who register a Sarasota County address for the first time, when moving into the county or following a release from prison. Citizens should still sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offenders and predator registrations.
