DUTIES
Perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, monitoring the closed circuit screens, maintaining/updating control room logs, reporting inmate counts, control movement through the area, order supplies, distribute mail, generate reports and keep appropriate records.
STARTING SALARY
Salary range upon hire: $24,938 - $29,580 (determined by acceptable prior related experience).
Long-term salary cap: $41,618
Additional $1200 annually for midnight shift differential.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated skill in the use of computer and office equipment required to perform the position tasks.
- Efficient in time management skills relating to daily work activities, tasks, and special assignments.
- Ability to work shifts which will include evening, week-end and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, demonstrating an awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
