Community Policing

 

The mission of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Community Policing Program is to open channels of communication with both individuals and their communities.  As the partnership between the agency and the community grows, the needs of the community can be more fully met.  The program is designed to integrate those charged with enforcement of law and those they serve with a more personal approach instead of the traditional para-military style of policing.
