LSD

If you notice a person has passed out,
get medical attention immediately, call 911, or they may die!

LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) is a potent hallucinogenic derived from lysergic acid. The effects of LSD are wildly unpredictable. The user will begin to feel the effects 30-90 minutes from ingestion and the high may last 12 hours or more. Users will display dilated pupils, increased body temperature, increased heart and blood pressure rates, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, dry mouth, tremors, and increased perspiration. A bad trip could include terrifying thoughts and feelings, a fear of losing control, fear of insanity and death.

The long term effects of LSD include lasting psychological problems, including terrifying flashbacks, schizophrenia, and severe depression. Chronic users may develop a tolerance and need more to feel the same effect.

Please know that:  Law Enforcement does not monitor emergency rooms  and hospitals are not required to report  drug overdoses to Law Enforcement.  If  someone has become passed out it is important to get them medical attention immediately!

Call 911 immediately, or get the individual to an emergency room.
