D.A.R.E.

Drug Abuse and Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.):
Targeted primarily to elementary school students, the D.A.R.E. program is
designed to help students recognize and resist the pressures that influence
them to experiment with illegal and controlled substances. Students are also
taught self-esteem development, interpersonal communication skills and how
to make sound decisions about avoiding drugs. To learn more about how
